Backflow

Testing, Repair & Installation

Backflow prevention protects drinking water from contamination—and for many properties, testing and maintenance are required by law. Backflow Compliance Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated

Backflow prevention devices stop contaminated water from flowing back into the public water supply. When these devices fail—or aren’t properly tested—water quality and public safety are at risk.

At CO-PI Plumbing, we help homeowners, business owners, and property managers stay compliant without the stress. From annual testing to repairs and new installations, we handle the full process—testing, documentation, and follow-up—so nothing slips through the cracks.

Backflow Testing (Residential & Commercial)

Many properties are required to have backflow prevention devices tested on a regular basis—often annually. Our certified technicians perform accurate testing and submit results to the appropriate authority.

Our backflow testing services include:

  • Residential backflow testing
  • Commercial backflow testing
  • Standard assemblies
  • Vault backflow testing
  • City or water district documentation
  • BSI submissions, when required

We track requirements so you don’t have to.

Backflow Repair & Replacement

If a backflow device fails testing, it must be repaired or replaced to remain compliant. Our team evaluates the condition of the device and recommends the safest, most cost-effective solution.

We perform repairs when possible and replacements when necessary—always with compliance and long-term reliability in mind.

Backflow Installation

New construction, property upgrades, or changes in code may require a backflow prevention device to be installed. CO-PI Plumbing installs backflow assemblies correctly from day one.

Installation services include:

  • Proper device selection
  • Code-compliant installation
  • Coordination with inspectors
  • Final testing and required documentation

Whether it’s a home, multi-unit property, or commercial facility, we ensure the installation meets all requirements.

Jeff Customer

Arrived within 2 hours of my call. I had reported that the main line needed cleaned out, and that two sink drains were draining slow. Did a main line cleanout and that fixed the basement sink issue. The upstairs drain was still gurgling but he explained it was due to the accordion connection that had been used and that there was no back up. It would have been easy for them to tell me the sink drains needed scoped, but they didn't..I appreciate their honesty.
